As MPA's world headquarters, the Torrance facility is IATF 16949 Certified, with approximately 140,000 square feet dedicated to testing labs, inspection, packaging, engineering, technical support, and our corporate offices. Torrance is also home to MPA's 20,000 square foot innovation lab, which operates around the clock testing products and seeking new ways to refine and improve the remanufacturing process.
MPA's global sourcing efforts are headquartered out of Nashville, TN. All sourcing for product cores, components and finished goods are coordinated out of this office for MPA's global operations and distribution network. The office is staffed with industry leading sourcing and logistic professionals. This facility is IATF 16949 Certified.
MPA’s Tijuana manufacturing and distribution facility is among the newest and most sophisticated starter and alternator remanufacturing facilities in the world. With over 310,000 square feet of the most technically-advanced equipment and over 1,000 employees, this facility has a total production capacity of over 8.8 million units per year. In addition to remanufacturing, this facility also contains engineering, packaging and warehousing facilities as well as core receiving and storage. Our Tijuana facility is IATF 16949 Certified.
Our brand-new 55,000 sq ft. facility in Johore houses our Alternator, component, and Wheel Hub Manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution. Our IATF/ISO Certified facility is fully scalable for part number expansion, utilizing lean cell technology with a cost-competitive structure and advanced semi-automated processes.
MPA’s 40,000 square foot starter remanufacturing facility in Parit Sulong is ISO/TS 16949 certified and can produce all starter part numbers from MPA’s catalog. It also boasts a cost-competitive structure — using scalable lean cell manufacturing with technically advanced equipment and tooling.
Located in Shanghai, MPA’s 56,000 square foot consolidation and distribution facility is used primarily to manage the components that go into our finished goods in support of our global manufacturing facilities. This facility is capable of handling shipments to support our internal and external global supply chain. This facility is ISO/TS 16949 Certified.
Located close to one of the world’s busiest duty-free ports, MPA’s shipping and warehousing facility provides logistical support to our two nearby manufacturing facilities in Malaysia. With 10,000 square feet devoted just to storage space, this facility is capable of handling global shipments and provides the most efficient support possible in terms of time and cost to our two Malaysian manufacturing facilities. The Jurong facility is ISO/TS 16949 Certified.
